Чудесный ангстовый фик, в котором Дин говорит "да" Майклу.
Динокас... ну, почти.

“I trust that God will lead to me to peace,” Castiel says, but he’s not sure he does anymore.
“Such faith,” Michael murmurs, almost to himself. “Is it your faith that has led you down this path? That caused you to disobey?”
Castiel wants to say yes. It would be noble, and easy, and perhaps inspire Michael to look at him with a tinge of respect in his eyes. “It is not as simple as that.”
Michael turns to look at Castiel, and for once, there is no judgment in his expression. “Dean Winchester.”
Castiel stares down at the fabric of his coat covering his knee—his vessel’s knee. It is strange to him how the delineation has grown ever more unclear in these past few months. “I thought I could protect him.”
“I can’t bring him back,” Michael says, and when Castiel drags his gaze up to meet Michael’s, there’s no scorn or cruelty there. “I tried to.”

A Deafening Distanceчитать дальше“Where is Michael?”
Gabriel stares down at him for a long moment, the silence punctuated by angry sirens that rise to a crescendo as an ambulance rushes by along the street down below.
“I don’t know,” he finally says. “Look, I’m sorry, bro, but I really don’t know. Nobody does. He’s gone, poof. Just like dear old Dad. And look…even if Michael is out there somewhere, he’s not. No human vessel could’ve survived that explosion. That’s why Michael threw you and Sam across the river. Dean-”
“Should’ve let me die,” Castiel says. Claws tear at his heart and his lungs and his mind. “Then I wouldn’t have to live like this. Be like this.”
“Like what?” Gabriel asks quietly.
“Alone. I wouldn’t have to be alone.”
Gabriel stares at him for a long time, his eyes humorless and piercing, his jaw working around unspoken words. He starts pacing over the richly varnished floor, and Castiel covers his face with his hands again.
“I’m sorry, Castiel, but I don’t know what to do. I can’t help you.”
